In every bite, you’ll find organic ingredients paired in interesting flavor combinations to balance the familiar with the unique. We sweeten our products exclusively with dates, an antioxidant packed and fiber rich alternative to sugar with beautiful notes of caramel. We love dates for their low glycemic index, which eliminates the energy crash that comes from desserts.

& Female-Founded

Spring & Mulberry is founded by Kathryn Shah and Sarah Bell, who spent their careers working at illustrious brands including Veuve Clicquot and Harry’s Razors. When a cancer diagnosis at 35 led Kathryn to kick refined sugar, she realized there were limited options to satisfy her sweet tooth. It took a year and 14+ rounds of prototyping to create the treats you'll now find at Spring & Mulberry.

Inspired by a Health Scare

A cancer diagnosis at 35 led founder Kathryn Shah to explore the healing benefits of food. After eliminating refined sugars and adding foods rich in antioxidants, she struggled to find nourishing treats to satisfy her sweet tooth. Kathryn set out to change that, learning about the health benefits of whole dried fruits and nuts, testing recipes with her partner Sarah in their home kitchens for over a year, and discovering the magic of dates in baking and chocolate making. That's how Spring & Mulberry was born.
